Zunoas is an independent reference to eighteen hotels arranged in four sections. Every entry is written from published sources: the hotel's own material, mapping services and press coverage. There are no prices here, no stars, no room counts and no bookings, and nothing on this site is placed in an order of merit. Where a source says nothing, this reference says nothing either.

How entries are made
Hotels were chosen to fill four named sections and nothing else decided their inclusion. Each entry rests on what the hotel publishes about itself, checked against mapping services and against reporting where it exists. Statements that could not be confirmed were removed rather than softened, which is why some entries say less than others.
Buildings are grouped by the age of the structure, not by the year the hotel opened. Snow and ice structures sit in their own group because they are raised again every winter. The longer account of sources, omissions and corrections is on the page about how entries are made.
